Texas A&M football has been on a tear in the class of 2026. The Aggies have most recently added a pair of high-value skill players from the Lone Star State to a group that looks to be challenging for a top-3 spot in the final rankings, if not the top spot overall.
The Ags have commitments from all over the country already on board— from Washington in the northwest all the way down to Georgia— but the Ags' latest commits are bolstering a much-needed presence in the state. That said, if you want to get a class of the caliber of which A&M fans are dreaming, you need to cast a wide net.
The Aggies have the ear of several five-star talents already, hosting players like Lamar Brown and Brandon Arrington multiple times. Another player from near the top of the rankings who the Aggies have been in constant communication with, receiver Tristen Keys, committed to LSU recently— but the Aggies are apparently still in it.
Texas A&M football hosts five-star WR, LSU commit Tristen Keys on huge visit weekend
This was already a huge weekends of visits, with names like Ethan Feaster, Bryce Perry-Wright, Tank Jones, and Bralan Womack all making their way into town. It just got even bigger with the news that Keys would be in the building as well.
Well, secrets out:

Five-star wide receiver and new LSU pledge Tristen Keys made his way to College Station this weekend.

Keys is currently the top-rated receiver in the nation and the no. 5 prospect overall according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. Coming to College Station so soon after giving his verbal to LSU means that the Aggies have to have some staying power in this one.
It can't feel good for Tiger fans to see their top-rated commit in the class wearing the Maroon and White, even if it is on a visit. There's no doubt that Mike Elko and Holmon Wiggins will be in this one right up until the very end— hopefully, they can close the deal.
