Trey Zuhn III started it, and now it looks like Miami fans are finishing it. Fans and even former players of the Miami Hurricanes are stepping up to the plate to trash-talk the Aggies and their fans.
It was a couple of weeks ago when Texas A&M's star left tackle said that the Aggies' OL wouldn't have to worry too much about Rueben Bain Jr., Miami's star pass rusher. Fans who have watched college football consistently over the past four decades know Miami football culture is embracing the trash talk and bringing the heat back.
Some of the Miami fans' comments are wild and hilarious. One fan even said that anybody over the age of 86 around the Bryan-College Station area wasn't around to see Texas A&M's last national championship.
Miami fans and former players are officially losing it when trash talking Texas A&M fans
One former offensive lineman named K.C. McDermott feels that Texas A&M has "a lack of disrespect" toward their opponent. McDermott was a Third-team All-ACC player back in 2017.
If I were Mike Elko, I’d hold a team meeting to address the lack of respect his team has for us. He needs to remember what happened to him in 2017 when he was disrespectful towards us lol.

One Texas A&M fan hilariously replied that Mike Elko should make a whole speech about respecting their opponent, and how it wouldn't be a waste of anybody's time at all.
Let's be honest, the 2022 game between the two teams was an ugly one. It was a slugfest. One fan said that Miami played decent enough in a hostile environment.
Timeline keeps saying Miami won’t be able to handle the crowd noise at Kyle Field.

So what did a less talented Miami OL and QB do there in 2022?

Sure, Tyler Van Dyke probably isn't as talented as Carson Beck, but the Texas A&M defense is also a lot more dangerous compared to three years ago.
Miami also hasn't played in front of a crowd of 100,000 people all season long. Speaking of hostile environments, one fan compared Texas A&M to Alabama, asking why don't 102,000 people decide the game all the time, as Aggies fans claim.
This obsession with crowd size is cope. It is a variable, not a solution. No amount of yelling fixes busted coverages or a QB who cannot process

And finally, my favorite part. Apparently, no one over 86 years old in the Bryan-College Station area remembers their last national championship. Not just around the local area, though, this fan is talking about our entire planet.
Texas A&M last important game they won was in 1939 lol 😂 nobody on earth was even alive at that time lol #GoCanes

Math is apparently not a strong suit among this fanbase.
