Texas A&M football is in the middle of a massive recruiting weekend right now, and they are clearly making the most of things. This A&M staff just picked up a commitment from one of the best-kept recruiting secrets in the entire nation, but they also have a lot of widely-recognized talent on campus as well.

Among those players is ATH Lamar Brown. Brown is a rare prospect that plays both offensive line and defensive line, and he does both at a five-star level. The Aggies have been recruiting him as a defensive lineman for quite some time, and though he's had the attention of every program in the country, he just keeps seeming to come back to the Aggies.

Given that this weekend is his official visit to College Station, A&M knew that they would have to make the most of things while he was in town. Amid a ton of Aggie momentum, they may have done just that.

Five-star Lamar Brown cryptically indicates that A&M may be across the finish line in high-leverage recruitment

Late Saturday evening, Brown put this tweet out:

Given that he's in College Station, the implication was clear that A&M has finally gotten across the finish line here.

Brown is no stranger to cryptic tweets, but this is definitely a great sign for the Aggies. With a commitment date upcoming in early July, the Ags may have things wrapped up even earlier.

It's not just A&M fans that are of this opinion, either: Adam Gorney of Rivals chimed in not long after Brown put out this tweet.

If nothing else, the Aggies are in an exciting spot here. Brown is not done yet with his official visits, but the Ags could have built an insurmountable lead.

Nothing's done until it's done, of course. Aggie fans are keeping their eyes on that July 10th date for Brown's commitment unless more news comes out before then. Things look great for A&M at the moment, though.
