In the new world of NIL, revenue sharing, and every other hot-button issue in college athletics, the Aggies are ready to show that they're ahead of the curve. This comes most recently in their commitment to fully fund every scholarship for every sport, as was announced today by Trev Alberts.
Texas A&M has decided to fully fund every roster position, increasing its total scholarship allotment by more than 150, AD Trev Alberts says. Aggies join Tennessee, Clemson and some others in completely scholarshipping each sport.

This will give the Aggies a huge advantage in some of the sports where scholarships are traditionally only partially guaranteed, such as baseball. With a possible move on the horizon at the head coaching position for the Aggie baseball team, this will be a definite draw for coaches considering the position.
This also shows that the Aggies are not taking any half measures when it comes to commitment to success in athletics. They are putting their money where their mouth is, and that's been a winning recipe for many schools.
Make no mistake, this is a big move for the Aggies. A&M is committed to winning at the highest level, and this latest maneuver only reifies that truth.
