While a a few questions are still on the minds of Texas A&M fans, the run game is set to be one among the more elite bunch of the SEC.

Of course, that starts within the trenches. Trey Zuhn III and Ar'maj Reed-Adams have been recognized several times this summer by Pro Football Focus for their blocking in the run and in the pass games, respectively. PFF listed Reed-Adams as an easy round two pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, but who knows? Stock is always hot and cold at any given time.

Zuhn III was recently recognized on the watch list for one of the more outstanding offensive linemen, and it's not surpising to see Zuhn III on here. He can use this award to help improve his career, and perhaps his stock in next year's draft.

Trey Zuhn III listed in Lombardi Award Preseason Watch List

Zuhn III has been the catalyst of the Aggies' offensive line. After all, he's going to be a fifth-year senior who leads the team in career starts.

The Lombardi Award was established in 1970, and goes to the most outstanding lineman who presents their best on and off the field. The last Aggie to win the award was linebacker Dat Nguyen, who ended up helping the Aggies win their last conference championship in 1998. Nguyen ended up becoming arguably the best defender in Texas A&M history, and it goes to show the vigorous work that has to be done to win the award.

Zuhn III will face some tough competition from his foes in Austin, who have four guys on the watch list. The Longhorns already have some momentum this season thanks to Kelvin Banks Jr. winning the award last season.

Zuhn III can use this as a chance to put a chip on his shoulder and improve his draft stock for 2026. This is one of the more prestigous awards for anybody to win. NFL Hall of Fame players have won the award, and this can be the start of a fresh NFL career if Zuhn III can take it home to Aggieland.
