Coming off of one of the most successful season in recent memory, Texas A&M football is well-positioned to make some noise in the upcoming recruiting cycle, having already landed several top prospects in that class. The Aggies are nowhere close to done in 2027, of course, and they are still the leaders in the clubhouse for quite a few massive names.

Recruiting insiders are already discussing how Texas A&M is a team to watch for the top class in the nation this next year, and they just got another reason why that could be the case. Rivals' Steve Wiltfong and Sam Spiegleman have both dropped predictions for Texas A&M to land elite five-star edge Zyron Forstall.

It's hard to overstate what kind of a win this would be early on in this cycle for the Aggies. Forstall is a Louisiana native, and so Lane Kiffin and company have been pushing hard for him— but the Aggies pulling him into the fold would remind Tiger fans of the nightmares that Elijah Robinson gave them on the trail last time he was in College Station.

Texas A&M predicted to land massive five-star defensive end Zyron Forstall

Forstall ranks as the no. 11 overall player per the 247Sports Composite rankings and the no. 9 overall player in the Rivals Industry rankings. Though originally from Louisiana, he now plays at IMG Academy in Florida.

The Aggies are already cooking with several huge linemen in this class, with recent developments helping their chances massively with current Texas Tech commit Jalen Brewster. On the offensive side, they are looking good for five-stars Albert Semien and Kennedy Brown.

This is not to mention the fact that they are also considered a favorite for the no. 1 overall player in the class, cornerback John Meredith. If the Aggies can pull in all of those players, we could be talking about another historic class coming to Texas A&M. Forstall is a key piece of that, and so his lean towards the Aggies at this point is massive.
