There's a definite path for the Aggies to end up with the top-ranked class in the upcoming cycle— one which they are already well on their way to.

How Texas A&M can finish with no. 1 recruiting class in 2027: Add more skill talent

The Aggies currently have no offensive skill players on the commit list for 2027— something they ought to remedy pretty soon. There's some momentum with a few players, but none as imminent as some of the defensive players the Aggies are in on.

One such name is RB Landen Williams-Callis out of Randle High School in Richmond, Texas. This one will be a good, old-fashioned in-state battle between the Aggies and Longhorns, as Steve Sarkisian has his sights set on the diminutive speedster as well.

Sa'Rod Baker is the other in-state running back that Aggie fans should know. He just went on an absolute tear for DeSoto in the playoffs— one which garnered him a lot of attention from major programs. He reported an offer from the Aggies on January 23.

Jaden Upshaw is a speedy receiver prospect from Georgia who could be the Aggies' latest addition from the Peach State. Texas A&M already has a couple of big names committed from Georgia, including QB Jayce Johnson, so the Aggies could lean on that familiarity to land the top-100 receiver.

In the Lone Star State, Tre Moore is probably the biggest target at receiver that the Aggies have on their board. The Pflugerville product and 126th-ranked prospect is another in-state battle with the Longhorns, but it's not one where the Aggies will go quietly.

Ahmad Hudson is the wild card here. A massive reciever who could just as well play tight end, the five-star pass-catcher will be a tough pull from Louisiana, but he's shown some affinity for Texas A&M. This would be a real coup, no doubt about it.
