It took Conner Weigman to take a seat on the bench in order for the Aggies to get back into rhythm. Marcel Reed came in and led a furious rally against the Bayou Bengals to the point where Garrett Nussmeier was just flustered by the chaos in Kyle Field.

With the Aggies and Tigers being members of the former SEC West division, it wouldn't be too much of a surprise for the two teams to meet every year. In a new post on X by On3, Andy Staples predicts the annual SEC matchups for each opponent.

The nine-game conference expansion feels like it came out of nowhere, and If Staples' prediction holds true, the Aggies would be looking at facing off against bitter rivals every year. Every opponent is enough to call it high stakes, as well as the difference between an appearance to Atlanta or not.

On3 predicts Aggies to face LSU, Texas and Arkansas annually

Every Texas and Texas A&M fan wants this. The chance to potentially spoil a season and head to the College Football Playoff while the other sits on the couch to watch. Every fan of both sides are glad that the rivalry is back. Just like the saying goes: "Don't Mess With Texas," feels more like don't mess with the Lone Star Showdown.

LSU feels like the annoying brother where you know it's going to take an effort to come out on top. Both the Tigers and Aggies have shared plenty of heartbreaking and exciting memories since Texas A&M joined the SEC in 2012. Every game feels the game of the season when the Tigers and Aggies meet, but the Tigers have more on their plate if they really do have to face Alabama every year.

For years, the Arkansas-Texas A&M rivalry was welcomed to folks at AT&T Stadium, but 2024 was the last neutral site game for the Hogs and Ags, and it's truly going to feel weird to see the teams in a real college stadium. The Razorbacks and Aggies have given us all kinds of crazy plays and classic moments. If On3 is correct here, there's no denying that Aggies fans would be getting treats every year to watch these annual matchups.
