Texas A&M football is starting to get the recognition they deserve. Some might say it's more Kool-Aid, but instead, it's the Aggies who are in the boat of the elite in the SEC if they play to their strengths.

Part of that strength is one of the mammoths on the Aggies' offensive line. That's a 6-foot-7, 330-pound giant, Dametrious Crownover, who is quietly becoming one of the silent giants of the SEC that will put SEC defensive ends on roller skates.

Texas A&M fans know his size is ginormous, but his stats from PFF College show that he might rise his draft stock by the end of this season, solely because of his ceiling from last season.

Crownover's ceiling is growing rapidly following strong 2024 campaign

The eye-popping stat for Texas A&M fans is probably the zero sacks allowed. Considering Crownover plays right tackle, he has an important assignment to protect Marcel Reed. LSU and Texas will probably be the toughest test for Crownover to keep his streak going, but what's impressive already is not giving up any sacks last season at all.

His run block grade at 76 isn't too shabby either. His run blocking could probably use some work if he wants to increase his draft stock, but one thing that fans can count on is that he's part of a veteran offensive line. A veteran offensive line is always the key to a consistent offense, and even though fans have all eyes on Reed, opening holes for Le'Veon Moss and Rueben Owens will be just as important.

Crownover has a golden opportunity to make an NFL roster by just his size alone, but if he lives up to the same hype as PFF College, SEC defenses are in for some rough Saturdays.
