This shows just how dominant the Aggies have been in this important area.

Texas A&M fans came into this year knowing that their offensive line would be one of the strengths of the team for the season. As one of the most experienced and talented units overall, the Aggies knew this offensive front would be the way forward for success in 2025, and they've lived up to it so far this year.

Though the Aggies have given up more sacks than the group in 2020 did already thus far this year, a lot of that has come from facing some dominant defensive fronts like that of Auburn. The rushing efficiency is where this has shown up the most so far, though, as the Aggies have created a lot of running lanes even against rush defenses that have been otherwise really solid.

Cam Mellor of Pro Football Sports Network, a service that grades individual players and position groups, put out the rankings of the top offensive lines in the nation recently— and Aggie fans should be pleased with what they're seeing.

Texas A&M offensive line grades out as best in nation thus far in 2025

Here are the grades for the offensive line groups so far this year:

Notice how the Aggies are far and away the best on this list. The difference from their grade to second place is the same difference as second place to sixth. That's what it looks like to be head and shoulders above the competition.

This makes sense, of course. This is one of the most experienced lines in the entire nation, and under the tutelage of Adam Cushing, they're performing at an extremely high level as you'd expect. The Aggies finally have some coaches who specialize in player development on campus, and it's paying off in a huge way.

Enjoy it while it lasts, of course— there's a chance that Texas A&M loses all of their top seven linemen going into next year (though they are already preparing for that by putting Robert Bourdon out there from time to time). You have the rock-solid 2024 class waiting in the wings, as well as 2025 five-star signee Lamont Rogers, but things could be rocky early next year in this position group. For now, though, this line deserves some major kudos.
