One of Texas A&M's offensive tackles has been making a name for himself since playing his last game with the Aggies.

Right tackle Dametrious Crownover was a star in the Senior Bowl. In drills, he put up a heck of a fight against First-team All-Big 12 pass rusher Romello Height. Pro Football Focus called Crownover the biggest standout from the Senior Bowl.

Crownover could go as early as the fourth round, and it makes sense considering he's got rare size and quickness for a 6-foot-7 offensive lineman. Nicholas Rome of Saturday Blitz has a mock draft in which he has Crownover inside the top 100 picks.

Texas A&M's Dametrious Crownover is a trending riser in the 2026 NFL Draft

Rome has Crownover going to the Eagles. Even though Lane Johnson is in the last phase of his career, Crownover could be a nice addition to take over Johnson's spot eventually. It'd be perfect for him to continue at RT.

"The Eagles got a big win as offensive linemen Landon Dickerson and Lane Johnson chose to return for next season. Howie Roseman and his staff are going to need to invest in the offensive line as the unit has dealt with injuries. Dametrious Crownover has exciting traits for an offensive lineman, and he could develop into a starter once Johnson retires."

Crownover has the potential to turn into a starting tackle in the NFL as long as he can polish his hand placement and change of direction. There should be no problem following through on his blocks, as he established himself at A&M as a tremendous run blocker.

The only thing to think about now is how he can improve in pass blocking. Rueben Bain Jr. is a lot different from someone like Myles Garrett, and Crownover needs to be ready for those kinds of instant adjustments.

Crownover could be drafted anywhere from the fourth to the sixth round. If Crownover continues to rise like he is, the early fourth round— or even up into the third— might be the likely route for him.
