Texas A&M's schedule next year looks quite similar to how it did in 2024, but thanks to reversed home-road splits, it will be a fair bit more difficult. Whereas the Aggies had Notre Dame, LSU, and Texas all at home last year, they will play all of them on the road in 2025.
Now, that also means that the Aggies should be able to stay undefeated at home relatively easily. With the quality of play in Kyle Field far surpassing the quality of play we saw on the road last year (for the most partโ the Ags played quite well in the Swamp, for example), the easier matchups should hopefully mean that the Home of the 12th Man is well-defended in 2025.
However, these road matchups will be nothing if not eye-catching. The Aggies will be a huge story next year, given that they have one of the most exciting players in the sport as their signal caller, and so they'll draw a lot of eyeballs no matter what. With a recent announcement, it looks like an early-season showdown will be right in a prime time window for A&M.
Texas A&M announces prime time kickoff against Notre Dame Fighting Irish
Instead of a season-opening game against the national runners-up from last year, the Aggies will be traveling to South Bend in week 3. Now, it has been confirmed that this will be a night game against the Fighting Irish.

This makes things more difficult for the Aggies, of courseโ it's hard enough to win on the road without the crowd being really into it. But given that this is in the prime time slot, fans will be ready and raring to go in South Bend.
This will no doubt draw a huge TV audience as well, given that this is by far the biggest game of week 3 in 2025. NBC being a broadcast channel means that the viewership will be pretty eyebrow-raising once all is said and done.
This is a chance for the Aggies to show the nation that they're for real if they can pull out a win in this one. If they falter, though, it will be a while before A&M can make it back into the public eye in a big way, given the way their schedule lays out.
