Recent history has shown that this has not been good for the Texas A&M Aggies whatsoever.

Texas A&M Aggies leading rusher Le'Veon Moss just went into the locker room with a leg injury during their home game vs. the Florida Gators. Before the injury, he was just being himself, one of the best running backs in the SEC. Moss shedded off a tackler on his way to the end zone to take the lead in the second quarter for the Aggies.

Shortly after that, Moss went down when his left leg turned awkwardly on a rushing attempt. The crowd inside Kyle Field went silent, and they are still holding their breath in hopes that this is not a serious injury. Moss went into the locker room, and it is unclear the seriousness of the injury, long-term.

PTSD immediately comes to mind for Texas A&M fans, as they remember their season turned south when Moss went down last year against the South Carolina Gamecocks. There is still plenty of depth in the Aggies' backfield, but history has shown this is not a good sight at all for Texas A&M.

Le'Veon Moss' injury brings back horrific memories of 2024 collapse

Against South Carolina, Moss went down with a torn MCL and ACL. This was the beginning of the collapse of the Aggies' season last year. From the replay of tonight's injury, it looked concerning to say the least, but at least he was able to walk off on his own to the locker room.

Fans should be hopeful, as there are plenty of weapons on this team all-around. Rueben Owens II has gotten off to a pretty nice start to begin 2025, and Amari Daniels knows this offense like the next veteran.

The only bummer here for the Aggies is that Moss is a serious stud who knows how to work well with this experienced offensive line. The senior running back has done so much in his time here and is well respected among the team.

At the very least, this is a nightmare for Aggies fans considering the Aggies were not doing too bad last year until Moss went down in the South Carolina game. This is not to say that same exact thing is going to happen, but the memories are just as haunting.

Texas A&M entered halftime with a 21-14 lead over Florida. Can Mike Elko's team hang on tonight?
