Former Texas A&M pass rushing legend Myles Garrett has been listed as one of the best players in the NFL, ranking at No. 8 in the NFL Top 100 Players of 2025.
This is not surprising by any means, but the story here is the best of the NFL crediting Garrett for being the most elite at his position.
It was a crazy offseason to say the least in the NFL, with stars like Terry McLaurin, Myles Garrett and Micah Parsons requesting to be traded. One of the craziest stories was at the beginning of the season when Garrett threatened to be traded from the Cleveland Browns, but unlike Jerry Jones and Parsons, Garrett and the Browns were able to make it work.
The rest of the NFL agrees that Garrett is the best at his position
When asked who was the best edge rusher in the game, Denver Broncos linebacker Nik Bonitto made it simple for everybody.
"Myles Garrett, for sure," Bonitto responded.

Packers All-Pro star Micah Parsons had a bit of a different angle to answer the question, but Parsons remained humble and had about the best answer.
"When I talk about who's the best defender in the league, I always say myself, but Myles is, like, the guy I'm like, I know I'm battling Myles every year," Parsons said.
Other veterans like Seahawks defensive lineman Leonard Williams and Ravens offensive lineman Ronnie Stanley answered Garrett too, and while it's easy to say Garrett is the best edge rusher, it's even tougher for Parsons to answer that when he's in the same discussion as Garrett.
Garrett is the first player in NFL history to have four straight seasons of 14 or more sacks. The longevity of Garrett's greatness is something to watch, because we're still in the middle of his prime. If he's able to keep a streak going like this for more seasons consecutively, no one in history will ever catch him.
It's almost similar to Mike Evans going for 11 straight seasons of 1,000 receiving yards, but Garrett is more in his prime than Evans, and that's why Garrett is No. 8 in the NFL Top 100 list.
