The stark disparity between Texas A&M and Florida's injury reports is shocking

The initial injury report was pretty eye-catching for this showdown between the Aggies and Gators.

Texas A&M appears to have a much healthier team than the Florida Gators headed into their matchup this Saturday after the initial injury report emerged for this game:

Texas A&M has only one player listed as out, which is Jared Kerr. Kerr, a safety from the 2022 class, primarily plays special teams at this point in his career, so the impact for this game will be minimal on that front.

Scooby Williams is listed as questionable on this report, but Mike Elko has given a lot of reason for optimism with regard to his status headed into this game. He's been listed as "day-to-day" since he initially suffered the injury, and with Daymion Sanford playing like a star in his place, the Aggies haven't really had to rush him back.

It makes sense that he's determined to return against his former team, however. He had a big game against the Gators in the Swamp last year, and he'll look to do so again in Kyle Field this season.

Texas A&M injury report looks far better than Florida's for Saturday's game

The most notable thing for the Aggies is who is not included here: Bryce Anderson, a senior safety who has been out for the past two games. After suffering a frightening injury against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, it's been only good news for Bryce since then, and it looks like he'll play against the Gators.

On the flip side, things are pretty bad for the Gators on the injury front. They have six players listed as out, including former five-star DE LJ McCray and one of their best defensive linemen in Caleb Banks. Treyaun Webb will also be missed at the running back position, though Jadan Baugh is a load to deal with in his own right.

A further seven players are listed as questionable for the Gators, including two offensive linemen. The Gators have gotten pretty banged up so far in the year, which could end up benefitting the Aggies if these injuries end up leading to a lot of these players sitting out for this upcoming game.
