There's no one more deserving than the two Aggies just named preseason All-Americans

These two Aggies are set for a huge season, and their inclusion on this list just testifies to that fact.

Taurean York and Ar'maj Reed-Adams have been named to the Walter Camp Preseason All-American list. York comes in as a first-teamer, and Reed-Adams is on the second team. They are the only two Aggies on the list.

Of course, Texas A&M football has no shortage of players who could have a breakout year in the upcoming season, but the eyes of the Aggie faithful are on a couple of players in particular. While there are currently some players sneaking under the radar for the Aggies, there are also a couple who have national attention.

Two in particular are York and Reed-Adams. These are two guys who have been developed from the ground up, coming out of high school as low three-star talents before breaking out once they got to the college ranks.

For York, that happened pretty immediately, as he was a starter for the Aggies in his freshman year and ended that season rather strongly. For Reed-Adams, he took a while to grow into himself while at Kansas, but he now is drawing some first-round buzz as maybe one of the best guards in the country.

This is a well-deserved honor for them both. York is the consummate leader; a stud through and through, both on the field and off. Reed-Adams has done a lot to provide some much-needed leadership to the locker room as well.

Hopefully, both of these guys live up to this billing this year. Reed-Adams' tough-nosed mentality can lead this offense to a banner year, and York working as the quarterback of the defense will be massive for Elko's scheme to really set in as the defense looks to take a step forward.

Congrats to both Taurean and Ar'maj! I'm sure this is the first of many honors yet to come for these two players.
