Three Aggie players who need to see more snaps to bolster A&M's chances in South Bend

Texas A&M needs everything they've got to take home a win this weekend— here are three players who can help who have been underutilized up until this point.

Texas A&M football has rolled their opponents so far in the 2025 season, but they have a whole different kind of challenge awaiting them this weekend.

The Aggies have cycled through a lot of players in the first two games, rotating guys and putting them all over the field as Elko fine-tunes this team in the leadup to the big games. We've seen a lot of different guys out there, but here are three who can make some noise if given the opportunity in this game.

Three Texas A&M players who need more touches: Le'Veon Moss

Is this one too obvious? No. 8 has been rocking and rolling for the Aggies whenever he's touched the ball as he gets back up to speed, including several of the most impressive runs from the A&M stable.

He's only logged 13 carries so far in the season, averaging 6.7 per carry. I think there's been more than a little big of a "keep-him-fresh" element here in the minds of the Texas A&M coaching staff, given that they know there's an extremely physical challenge coming their way when they face off with the Irish.

I think we see Moss log a number of carries that well exceeds what he has been. They'll still make good use of Rueben Owens, who has ripped off a couple of explosive runs in his own right, but Moss should be the bell cow against this tough Notre Dame front.

Three Texas A&M players who need more touches: Nate Boerkircher

The TE transfer from Nebraska has been impressive so far for the Aggies, but those who look only at the stat sheets may not yet be aware. The element of physicality that he has brought has been much-needed in that room, and he's made a couple of plays catching the ball as well.

I mean that literally: so far, he's made a couple of plays. Two. The Aggies can spring some surprise on the Irish if they utilize Boerkircher down the field at some key moments— right now, he's thought of as mainly a blocker, but they can fool the defense and get open down a seam quickly.

Three Texas A&M players who need more touches: Rylan Kennedy

The Aggie edge defenders have been great so far, particularly Cashius Howell, but I'd love to see more out of no. 15. It takes some guts to wear Myles Garrett's number at his same position, but Kennedy took that challenge on right away.

He's flashed some impressive play off the edge for the Aggies so far, and I think he can continue to do so. He'll be a good change of pace to deploy for the A&M coaching staff— I don't think he starts, but I think he can make an impact if given the opportunity.
