Here's what we learned from Texas A&M football's gutsy win on the road against Mississippi State.

Three takeaways from Texas A&M football's second straight double-digit win on the road

Even after a game that left fans in conniptions at certain points, Texas A&M football emerged from Starkville with a victory—a result all too rare since the Aggies have joined the SEC. That factor should be in no wise discounted here—losing games you should win in Davis Wade has been something of a practice by this outfit for quite some time.

Of course, things didn't look perfect. There's plenty to improve upon for this squad still yet—though we know the level they can get to (that much we saw in the win over Missouri), they're not going to always be there.

But what's real and what's fluky from this game? What can we take away going forward? Let's take a look.

Texas A&M football's offense is for real

Think about this: the Aggie offensive line had an off day, your QB threw two interceptions, you had several big plays called back... and you scored 34 points on the road.

This Collin Klein offense is showing us that it can produce even when things don't happen the way they should. Even if the team is having an off day, they can put up a solid number on the scoreboard.

In the six-season Jimbo Fisher era, the Aggies scored at least 34 points in a road game a grand total of four times. They didn't do it for the first time until his third season at the helm.

There are certainly areas to improve upon, but the Aggie offense is steadily finding its footing—and that much is an encouragement.
