Texas A&M's game against Samford was well-attended by the 12th Man, but Texas A&M fans didn't see as much of Heisman hopeful Marcel Reed as some would have liked. It was likely the right call, though, as Texas A&M got to play a lot of young talent against the Bulldogs, getting them some game experience before they come in for the big time.

So who flashed the most for Texas A&M in this game? Let's take a look at three players.

Unsung players that popped for A&M vs. Samford: WR TK Norman

The freshman receiver out of the state of Alabama has gotten quite a bit of buzz from this past fall camp, but with what suddenly became an extremely deep receiver room in College Station, he didn't quite have what it took to break through in his first year. That would be a rarity for any wide receiver, so it's no slight against Norman at all that he hasn't played so far this year— but what Aggie fans saw out of him was pretty exciting.

At the beginning of the third quarter, he took a screen pass and looked— dare I say— positively KC Concepcion-like on his run after the catch. That's how he's been sold to a lot of Aggie fans, to be fair— his shiftiness and ability to break tackles is what he's been hyped for.

Norman is a guy that could fill a needed niche for the Aggies next year when Concepcion is out the door. I'm not saying he's the same guy, but his archetype is similar, which should encourage Aggie fans.
