Undrafted Texas A&M receiver making noise with touchdown catch and celebration

A beloved Texas A&M alumnus is making some big time noise for his team in the preseason.

Though Texas A&M football will be glad to have an upgraded receiving corps in the upcoming year, I know a lot of fans will miss the always-upbeat Jahdae Walker on the team. The Grand Valley State transfer came into College Station as an unheralded guy, but he quickly became a key piece of the Aggies' offense, even if some fans felt his ceiling was pretty defined.

He may be defying those expectations, however, as he has been making some noise for the Chicago Bears in the NFL preseason. We've heard good things about both Walker and Shemar Turner out of Chicago, and in tonight's game against Miami, Walker showed his stuff.

Jahdae Walker showing out for Chicago Bears, ready to leverage shot at the NFL

Walker went out for an end zone fade route on this play, one which was perfectly thrown by the Chicago quarterback, and guided it into his hands perfectly, as you can see from the video below:

This touchdown saw the Bears take the lead in the fourth quarter, so it was a key moment in the game. That shows Walker has a bit of a clutch gene to him, as this was no easy catch.

You can also see just how fired up he and his teammates get as he makes his way over to the sideline following this play. And it wouldn't be a Jahdae touchdown if he didn't hit the Jubi slide afterwards!

The celebration as much as the play was enough to fire up Bears fans, apparently— and I honestly can't really blame them.

I think Bears fans are finding out just how fun of a guy Jahdae can be to watch when he's playing at the top of his game. Hopefully, he can continue to show out up in Chicago and makes an NFL home for himself.
