Way-too-early 2025 SEC record predictions: Oklahoma
This is a majorly difficult slate for Oklahoma for the second year in a row; this time, though, instead of a pillow-soft non-conference, they get to play a home game against Michigan— who will be in the process of breaking in their no. 1 overall recruit Bryce Underwood at quarterback.

This is not to mention the fact that OU will basically have lost all of their wide receiving corps via the portal, without much of a plan at this point to replace them. I have them starting 3-2, with wins over Illinois State, Temple (which will be played in Philadelphia?), and Kent State.
They'll get another late-season win this year— this time in a quasi-rivalry against Missouri— but this could be it for Venables. The four-game stretch in the middle of the season where OU goes from Red River, to playing at South Carolina, to hosting Ole Miss, and then going to Knoxville— which I have as an 0-4 stretch— will be absolutely killer.
PREDICTION: 4-8 (1-7)
