Way-too-early 2025 SEC record predictions: Auburn

The Tigers have the chance to start off hot this upcoming season, and I think they do. Now that they actually might have a quarterback, they'll have to capitalize this year.

While I do have them getting off to a quick start, though, the middle of the season may be a grind. In fact, this will be a season full of streaks for the Tigers; I have them winning four straight, then losing four straight (including a tough one at Arkansas), then ripping off another three-game win streak headed into the Iron Bowl.

There's still a little too much dysfunction under Freeze for me to pick them to beat Alabama, though. My lowest-confidence picks are home losses to Missouri and Bama, so they could end up with a significantly nicer-looking 9-3— but I'm not sure I believe in Freeze to get that done quite yet.

PREDICTION: 7-5 (3-5)
