Way too early power ranking for SEC football in 2025: Texas A&M football could ascend in Mike Elko's second season

The Bulldogs are going to have to show me something before they move out of the basement. They simply have too much turnover, losing pretty much the only bright spots on their entire team in Kevin Coleman, Mario Craver, and Michael Van Buren.
The case to be made for them is that they have picked up tons of speed through the portal. Guys like Brenen Thompson will be lethal in a Lebby offense, and that can make the Bulldogs dangerous.
But they already had guys like that last year in the aforementioned Craver and Coleman. It’s better that they’ve picked up Thompson and Anthony Evans than if they simply lost all of the production with no replacement. But it’s still not good enough to make me think they’ll be anything more than they were this previous year.
