Way too early power ranking for 2025 SEC football: 8 - Missouri

I didn’t mean to put all three Tiger teams in a row, but here we are. Missouri loses some big contributors as well, with Brady Cook and Luther Burden out the door, not to mention Nate Noel, but they also bring in some top talent from the portal.

Damon Wilson is one of the top names in the portal, and he will be wrecking shop in Columbia, Missouri, rather than Athens, Georgia, this fall. He replaces the outbound Williams Nwaneri, who many Mizzou fans were hoping to see break out next year. I like the pickup of Kevin Coleman as well from Mississippi State.

At QB, though, it looks like Mizzou will be relying on former Penn State backup Beau Pribula to be the guy. That’s a bit of a gamble given how big of an unknown he is, but if it pays off for Eli Drinkwitz, they could make some noise again. For now, though, I see them taking a step back.
