Week 11's SEC power rankings see head coach-less team crawl out of the basement

Ahead of a massively crazy coaching carousel, one SEC team without a current head man made a big move in the power rankings.

Despite five teams on a bye week this Saturday, there was plenty of exciting action around the SEC. There were some nail-biting, down-to-the-wire contests, upsets no one saw coming, and continued separation by one team as the top overall squad.

So how does the conference shake out after the action from week 11? Let's dive in and power rank the teams.

Power ranking the SEC after week 11: 16 - Florida

The Florida Gators lost 38-7 to Kentucky on the road this week. I thought I was hallucinating when I saw that, but it is apparently real.

DJ Lagway was positively putrid in this game, recording only 83 yards on 4.4 YPA, and accompanied his one touchdown with three interceptions. That's not very good!

Jadan Baugh couldn't find a lot of purchase on the ground, either, against a pretty mediocre Kentucky defense. This is increasingly looking like a Florida team that has completely given up this season after all the drama surrounding their program.

It looks like there are going to be some players headed out the door after the conclusion of the season, at least if guys like Dallas Wilson shutting it down early is any indication. The Gators have to be all in on Lane Kiffin for next season— if they don't get him, it could be pretty slim pickings across the country.
