Texas A&M and South Carolina are set to kick off at 2 PM CT today on main channel ESPN, but with the Texas and Missouri game still going on that channel, the start for the Aggies is going to be on another channel. The game will kick off on ESPNews, and will switch back over to main channel ESPN once Texas and Missouri concludes; the rest of the information on the broadcast can be found below.
Date: November 7, 2026
Time: 3 PM ET/2 PM CT
Channel: ESPN or streaming (game start on ESPNews)
Location: Williams Brice Stadium, Columbia, SC
Texas A&M record: 4-4 (1-4)
South Carolina record: 5-3 (3-3)
Announcers: Roy Philpott (play-by-play), Brock Osweiler (color commentary), Stormy Buonantony (sideline reporter)
The Aggies come into this one as just a shade under a touchdown underdog. They are in bad need of a win for their bowl eligibility hopes, as they— currently 4-4— need to win two of their final four games to make it to .500. After this game against the Gamecocks, they will have a contest back home against Tennessee, followed by a road game against Oklahoma. Then, they will close the year in the Lone Star Showdown against Texas.
Texas A&M vs South Carolina will kick off on ESPNews: How to watch and more
Getting a win here would go a long way for the Aggies in getting to the six-win mark, of course, but it is going to be one of the tougher games to emerge triumphant from on the schedule— possibly the toughest. The Gamecocks may not be the most talented team left for the Aggies from a roster standpoint, but they are playing as hot as anyone in the country right now.
South Carolina is coming off of a stretch where they beat a ranked Florida on the road in the Swamp, defeated a ranked Tennessee at home, and capped it off by putting up more points on Oklahoma than anyone has all year. That's a pretty strong resume in the last couple of contests, and a huge bounce-back from a three-game losing stream earlier in the year.
Meanwhile, the Aggies are trending in the wrong direction, though there were reasons for hope in their previous game against Alabama. Texas A&M is winless on the road so far this season, with every contest away from Kyle Field being a double-digit loss up until this point.
There are cracks in the armor for the Gamecocks, but they don't appear to be any that the Aggies are equipped to take advantage of right now. A&M has been pretty inept in the passing game this season (though, again, there were some reasons for optimism in their last game), and that's the spot where Carolina has been the most vulnerable.
Meanwhile, the Aggies will be tasked with stopping one of the most efficient and explosive run games in the country; a tough ask for any team, but the Aggies have been better against the run than the pass so far this year. A&M will need to control the game with a strong rushing attack behind KJ Edwards (who was taken off of the injury report this morning) and Marcel Reed.
