College football week 9 watch guide: Texas A&M vs. LSU headlines sneaky good slate

Another fun-filled week of college football is upon us, friends. Week 9 brings plenty of ranked vs. ranked matchups, despite only one true headliner.

Even with just one big-ticket game, there's still plenty on the line in some of these other contests. Let's take a look at what is airing and when, and make some predictions for the biggest games of the weekend.

College football week 9 early slate: First screen - 12 Notre Dame @ 24 Navy (12 PM ET/11 AM CT, ABC)

The Irish have really not had a true test since they played the Aggies in week 1—of course, they failed all the same in the follow-up by falling to NIU. Since then, they got a nice win over Louisville, a dominant win over Purdue, and some other stuff, I guess. Navy is sneaky good (though not so sneaky anymore since they're ranked, I guess), and will give the Irish a run for their money. I've still got the Domers here, though. Prediction: ND 24, Navy 14

College football week 9 early slate: Second screen - Oklahoma @ 18 Ole Miss (12 PM ET/11 AM CT, ESPN)

Ole Miss is on fraud alert after losing two out of their last three. Now at 5-2 after a pillow-soft first seven games, they're looking to get back on track after the bye. This should be a really decisive win for the Rebs, but if OU keeps things close, then some interesting discussions should be had about the way this conference stacks up. Prediction: Ole Miss 41, OU 6
