Ranking SEC schedule difficulty: 7 - Vanderbilt

The Commodores have a pretty light non-conference schedule; defeating Virginia Tech will be their biggest challenge, but even this year's Vandy team barely managed that. If they regress to how they have been, there's no guarantee they beat Georgia State or Utah State.

The road slate is significantly tougher for the Commodores this upcoming year, visiting South Carolina, Alabama, and Texas. While they went one-for-three this past year, o-fer is looking more likely in 2025.

If they can jump up and surprise one team, it's probably LSU, who will be visiting in between games against South Carolina and Texas A&M. Or perhaps Missouri, who will be coming off of a visit to Auburn. They'll need some things to break their way, though.
