Texas A&M football transfer portal departures: Jacob Bostick - San Diego State

Bostick leaves College Station after only one season in the Maroon and White, heading to his third school in as many years. He came to Texas A&M after a year at Iowa, where he had a reputation as one of the highest-ceiling players at the position for the Hawkeyes.

Now, that's not saying too much considering the program. But his measurables were intriguing as a guy who could be a true X receiver for the Aggies if Noah Thomas didn't take a step.

Of course, Thomas did take such a step, and resultantly, Bostick never quite made it onto the field. He saw action late in a couple of games, but the flashes that A&M fans hoped to see never quite manifested themselves.

Bostick will have more opportunity to break out with the Aztecs than he would with the Aggies, especially considering who the Ags are bringing in at receiver. Hopefully he gets his shot in San Diego.
