Texas A&M football transfer portal departures: Martrell Harris

Harris is one of the forgotten men from the 2022 class. His addition was hyped up as a sneaky good grab by the Aggie staff after he showed some major flashes in his senior season. The word was that the Ags had to hold off several big time schools to bring Harris into the fold, so there were some high expectations for him.

Instead, he never really saw the field. Edgerrin Cooper was already firmly entrenched at one spot, and Taurean York took over the other once he got to campus. Once Elko began bringing in guys like Scooby Williams and Solomon DeShields, it was becoming clear that Harris didn't have much of a shot with the Ags.

He still has yet to announce where his destination is in the portal. Having not heard much about him during his time in College Station, I wouldn't be surprised if it's at a lower level.
