Texas A&M football transfer portal departures: Kam Dewberry - Alabama

Another former 2022 signee that never quite cracked the starting lineup heads off to another SEC destination. Dewberry flirted briefly with Alabama while in high school, but the main contenders for his services were the Aggies and Longhorns back then.

It is Tuscaloosa where he finds himself this time, though. As DeBoer moves into his first full year as the Tide's coach, Dewberry could be a key piece. He's played a decent bit for the Aggies— more than Ogunbiyi has, anyway— and boasted quite a pedigree coming out of high school.

Can he reclaim the form that so many fans and recruiting analysts saw before he signed? That is to be determined. He'll have a lot of competition in Tuscaloosa, but don't be surprised if he's in the rotation for the Tide.
