Texas A&M football transfer portal departures: Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy - South Carolina
I promise, this is the last 2022 signee on this list that is headed to another power program. Dindy always intrigued fans with his sheer size and raw power, but he, for one reason or another, never made it into the rotation consistently.
Is that a red flag? With how many players A&M rotates up front, it certainly could be. Unless GBD already knew he was portal-bound, and was sitting games out— which would be a red flag in itself— it's kind of worrying he wasn't able to get in the middle of that Aggie DL as a big run-stuffer down the stretch of the year. Recent developments have suggested he wasn't a fan of A&M's defensive coordinator, either.
But again, sometimes a change of scenery is all it takes. The Gamecocks took Kyle Kennard, who was just a guy at Georgia Tech, and made him into the Bronco Nagurski trophy winner. Brownlow-Dindy could make that same kind of jump— but there's nothing so far in his A&M career to say that he will do so.
