Pro Football Focus releases NFL Draft Big Board that includes four Texas A&M football players

NFL draft season is quickly approaching, and Texas A&M football fans anticipate that several Aggie players will hear their names called on draft night. The Aggies have three players who were invited to the NFL combine, but there are a few more who are draft-eligible who have a chance of being selected.

The main three, of course, are all defensive linemen. The Aggie DL was a strength coming into the season, and though the production tailed off due to injury in the later part of the year, it still included some highly-thought-of prospects.

Pro Football Focus just dropped their big board for the draft, and it included several Aggies. So where did PFF rank the Aggie draft hopefuls? Let's take a look.

Texas A&M football players on Pro Football Focus big board - No 20: Shemar Stewart

This one would have been a bit surprising had you been told before the season. Most thought that Stewart was a second fiddle to Scourton on the line, but draft experts have quickly fallen in love with Shemar's measurables. He projects to be an impact player at the next level with some more development, and could hear his name called in the first round.

Texas A&M football players on Pro Football Focus big board - No 27: Nic Scourton

Scourton is in the danger zone here as far as his first-round status. Many thought he had top-10 upside coming into the year, but after an injury caused his production to taper off, Nic's stock took a bit of a hit. He could still end up as a selection in the first, but he has some work to do.

Texas A&M football players on Pro Football Focus big board - No 150: Shemar Turner

It takes a while to reach the next Aggie on the list. Turner has played all over the line in his career, but he has some consistency issues despite his monstrous physical attributes. I could see him as a big time riser from this spot if he can put on an impressive show at the combine, but for now, this is a ranking that makes sense.

Texas A&M football players on Pro Football Focus big board: No 298 - Moose Muhammad

Did any of you have this in the cards? The final ranked Aggie on this big board is Moose Muhammad. He's a guy whose potential enchanted many A&M fans despite his lack of playing time— something often discussed in Aggie circles— and that same potential could be a big draw for a late-round pick.
