Five recruits who could be next domino to fall for Texas A&M: Jayquan Snell
Snell, a safety out of Waxahachie, Texas, is another player who has been high on the Aggies recently. He visited College Station recently, and by all accounts, that visit was one where Mike Elko's program made a big time move in his recruitment.
Aggie fans who have followed recruiting for some time will recall that Texas A&M had a lot of success with another safety prospect out of Waxahachie in recent history, that being Demani Richardson, who is now with the Carolina Panthers after five years in College Station. That connection could end up paying off for the Aggies, as there are few players who meant more to Texas A&M over those five years than Richardson, who played ever since he was a true freshman.
Snell recently named Texas A&M in his top group alongside Texas, Ohio State, LSU, Tennessee, Ole Miss, Alabama, Texas Tech, Miami, and Oklahoma. A top 10 only goes so far, of course, but there's a lot of thought that the Aggies could be the leader in the clubhouse.
There's no set decision timeline for Snell, but we're approaching the time of the year where a lot of top recruits in the current junior class will be making decisions. He may be a good candidate to be the commitment in question, but even if he's not, there's still a lot to like about where the Aggies stand.
