Five recruits who could be next domino to fall for Texas A&M: Albert Simien
This is another out-of-state player who has been predicted to the Aggies over the last few weeks. Simien is the top interior offensive lineman in the class, and the Aggies have made some great headway here already— enough that Steve Wiltfong of Rivals has dropped a prediction for him to end up in College Station.
NEW: Rivals’ @SWiltfong_ and @samspiegs have logged expert predictions for Texas A&M to land elite IOL Albert Simien👍

That's despite the fact that he hails from Lake Charles, Louisiana— which is obviously a stronghold for the LSU Tigers. It's never easy to snag a recruit out of the Boot when you're an out of state program, so even if Semien decides for the Aggies, it will be a long-term battle for A&M to actually sign him.
Even so, getting him in the boat early on would be a huge coup for the Aggies. Adam Cushing has flirted with landing some of the top offensive line recruits in the nation over the last few cycles, hitting the jackpot with guys like Lamont Rogers in the 2025 cycle, so it shouldn't be surprising that the Ags are in the race so prominently with a player of Simien's caliber.
There's a ways to go here no matter what— this prediction came in a while ago, so it could be that he is finally ready to go public with a recruitment, but even if that's the case, this will be a battle to the finish. You have to like the fact that A&M's offensive line is so dominant this year, too— that's the kind of development that elite players love to see happening.
