DB, Jaden Wright

What do Jaden Wright and Alabama star defender Minkah Fitzpatrick have in common? They have both returned an interception for a touchdown this year. Wright leads the Aggies with three interceptions including his 45 yard pick six in a victory of Louisiana-Lafayette.

LB, Rodney Butler

Butler leads the NCAA in total tackles with 102 in just seven games, a rate of 14.6 tackles per game. If the Aggies have a prayer in College Station they’ll have to limit the play-making ability of Texas A&M. That will start with Butler getting people on the turf.

RB, Larry Rose III

A third year player from Fairfield, Texas. Rose III is perhaps the most decorated Aggie. Last year he totaled 1940 yards from scrimmage and scored 16 touchdowns. Deservedly he was named Sun Belt Conference Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year, First Team All Conference, and was selected to the AP All-American Third Team. He’s been relatively quiet so far in 2016 with 281 yards on 68 carries.
