8. Barton Clement

Offensive Guard, Fort Bend Marshall High School (Missouri City, TX)

Clement would fit right in with Luke Matthews and Colton Blanton. He is a 6’3″, 301 pound offensive guard. With Clement in the fold, the Aggies would have their third four star offensive linemen in the 2018 class, including both Blanton and Matthews.

Six of the seven crystal ball predictions have him trending towards A&M. Three of Barton’s top five schools currently are from the SEC, with Missouri and Auburn joining A&M.

Clements last visit to College Station was for junior day on January 22, 2016. He earned his offer back in February of 2016 and since then has added TCU, Houston, Texas, and Baylor from the in-state ranks.

Aggies are known for getting offensive linemen drafted in the first round, as the case was for Germain Ifedi, Cedric Ogbuehi, Luke Joeckel, and Jake Matthews. Clement could be another name to go in the first round after he is through with Coach Turner. That’s a pretty good record to sell.
