The Aggie lineup has been inconsistent this past month. Texas A&M leads only Alabama, Georgia and Tennessee in terms of runs scored. Second baseman Braden Shewmake has been stellar leading all Division 1 freshmen in hits and RBIs. For the year, he is batting .345 with five home runs and 45 RBI.
Freshman Logan Foster has seen signs of life as he has batted 4-11 in his last three games with four walks and only one strikeout. Centerfielder Nick Choruby continues to set the table well for the order as he has drawn the second most walks amongst SEC batters. George Janca has also been a key contributor of late with a .324/4HRS/14RBI line in the past six series.
However, the middle of the lineup (4-6) is really struggling of late. They went 5-for-37 last weekend against Tennessee who has one of the weakest SEC pitching staffs. Walker Pennington, Joel Davis, Blake Kopetsky, and Logan Foster have seen declines in their batting averages during conference play as they are hitting .177,.164, .171 and .205 respectively.

Despite the batting slumps by some players, the Aggie glovework has kept the team in many games. The Aggies have the second highest fielding percentage in the SEC.
