Out of all of the fantastic towns on this list, Auburn definitely has the most “Aggie” feel to it. The students/alumni are fantastic and the traditions are among the best in all of college football. In particular, the ‘War Eagle’ ceremony just before kickoff will give you goose bumps.

Fortunately, the maroon and white have yet to lose inside of the massive Jordan Hare stadium so I have yet to see the famous ‘Toomer’s Corner’ celebration (where students will commemorate a Tiger victory by throwing toilet paper all over the famous oak trees on College street), however I have heard it is quite the spectacle.

Pro tip

The bar scene is very condensed and can get a tad crowded after the game, however hitting ’17-16′ is an absolute must. Named after one of the most legendary iron bowl games in that storied rivalry, the bar (located just on the outskirt of the strip of bars known as ‘the plains’) is home to one of the most laid back atmospheres on the strip with its very own nightly beer pong tournament,  along with some insane drink specials on game day. Enjoy.
