No. 3 – Jhamon Ausbon catches his first SEC TD

We all know Christian Kirk can go off if given the chance. This is not lost on the South Carolina coaches, who may have two defenders follow him around all game long. This should leave openings for emerging target Jhamon Ausbon to have a great game.

He caught five passes against Arkansas for only 48 yards, but he was targeted more than that. We know him and Mond have some chemistry, but getting them going during SEC games will make the offense more deadly. I want to see him catch his first SEC touchdown pass. I’d really like to see him catch 10 TDs this game, but we’re going to be reasonable.

Him and Mond both were at IMG Academy their senior year, and Ausbon may have been a big reason Mond ended up at Texas A&M. That chemistry takes a bit to show up on the field, but it can be deadly.

We all remember Manziel to Evans, and Mond to Ausbon could be the next great duo in Aggie history. That started Saturday in Arlington, and takes the next step in Kyle Field, beneath the lights, against South Carolina.
