Week 8 (5-1,1-1 Big 12) : At Baylor

Texas A&M defeats Baylor 37-29

The next week the Ags go up Highway 6 to Waco to take on the Baylor Bears. The actual 2012 Bears would finish 8-5 on the year and go to defeat UCLA in the Holiday Bowl that year. In our 2012, they are focused on the Aggies coming into town.

Remember, these scores are averages of 10 games simulated, but I’m still noticing a trend here.

The Aggies win by two scores and are riding pretty high after scoring 37 points in basically every game. The specific one I highlighted was a 56-53 barnburner. In it, Johnny was 26 of 33 with three touchdowns. He added 54 rushing yards and two touchdowns on the ground.

The defense and special teams got in on the action, each scoring one touchdown. Deshazor Everett had a pick-six, and a punt was returned for a touchdown. On the negative side, Taylor Bertolet missed three extra points, which allowed Baylor to come back in the last-minute to make it interesting, as they scored their last eight points with six seconds left to make a 45-56 loss a 53-56. We should have scored 59.
