Texas A&M Football 2017: 5 Bold Predictions vs. Mississippi State
By Tim England
5. Texas A&M defeats Mississippi St
For the past two years, Texas A&M has lost their next conference game after their bye week. That streak stops on Saturday night. Texas A&M has only improved each week since UCLA. With the exception of a few too many turnovers against the Crimson Tide, the Aggies have been good enough to win every other game since Week 1.
The Aggies will limit Fitzgerald by forcing him to stay inside the with a disruptive defense. Keith Ford and Trayveon Williams will get the running game going and Kellen Mond will make the big plays when he needs to.
To top it off, the 12th Man gets a third night game in a row at Kyle Field and will be ready to make the atmosphere as difficult as possible for the visiting Bulldogs. The home crowd will be the x-factor that turns the Bulldogs’ slight favorite status against them on Saturday night.

This game marks the Aggies’ last game in the month of October. While the month of November has been what has defined their seasons in recent years, a 6-2 start will set this team up on the right foot entering the final stretch of the season.
