Isolated Points Per Play+

Isolated Points Per Play is a measure of explosiveness. It only calculates successful plays into its numbers, and shows how much fun an offense is to watch. Teams that have high IsoPPP+ are Oklahoma, Missouri, Ole Miss, Central Florida, and Ohio State. They have lots of big plays and highlights.

Texas A&M, on the other hand, scores a 93.5, ranking the Aggies 97th out of 130 teams. Seven spots above the Aggies is the University of Massachusetts. A&M just beats out UTEP, Rice, Temple, and Baylor. I’m glad that the Aggie offense is slightly better than one who just lost half the team, the entire coaching staff, and basically every recruit. That’s a very low bar to set.

West Virginia and Coach Spavital are 31st in the nation at being explosive with a score of 114.7. With so many weapons at their disposal, highlighted by Christian Kirk, the offense should be better than this.
