Texas A&M 7-4 (4-3 SEC) can secure their first winning season in conference play with a win over LSU on Saturday. That should be a rallying cry for a young football team, instead it’s met with bittersweet feelings by most of its players.
Reports surfaced earlier in the week that the school intends to fire Kevin Sumlin following the LSU game regardless of the outcome. That puts a lot of different feelings into the team and the fanbase heading into the final week of the regular season. However, despite all of that, they still have to play the game and you can be certain the Aggies are going to come out swinging for their head coach.
LSU 8-3 (5-2 SEC) has completely turned their season around since they lost at home to Troy earlier this year. Since that low point the Tigers have won five of their next six games with the lone loss coming at the hands of Alabama. Coach Ed Orgeron and offensive coordinator Matt Canada have found a rhythm that works, making the Tigers a dangerous out for just about everyone.
Pride is on the line for the Aggies. Here are five bold predictions for Texas A&M’s regular season finale against LSU in Week 13.
