Big Ten Championship Game

Saturday, Dec. 2 – No. 8 Ohio State vs. No. 4 Wisconsin, 7:00 p.m. CT, Lucas Oil Stadium, FOX

Another game that may end up being a play-in to the Playoff, Wisconsin takes on Ohio State. Wisconsin was an unknown until recently, as they hadn’t won any big games. Their best win is over Michigan, or Iowa. But, the Iowa team that lost to Wisconsin did demolish Ohio State. This should be an interesting game to claim the Big Ten crown.

Wisconsin is going to have their standard ground based attack with a heavy dose of defense and special teams play. Ohio State quarterback J.T. Barrett was injured on the sideline against Michigan, a story worth following, but his backup played well. Redshirt freshman Dwayne Haskins was able to lead the offense to a victory against their hated rivals in their yearly contest, and may see some extended playing time against the Badgers.

Personally, I am going to be watching the ACC Championship over the Big Ten Championship, but may end up switching back and forth. The evening is two games that should both be fantastic contests. After Saturday, the College Football Playoff selection committee has it all in their hands to decide the postseason.
