MWC Championship Game

Saturday, Dec. 2 – No. 25 Fresno State vs Boise State, 6:45 p.m. CT, Albertson’s Stadium, ESPN

It’s been a long time since Boise was the darling team that came in and beat Oklahoma in a thrilling Fiesta Bowl. Since then, they have been quietly successful, and are once again in a prime spot to win the conference for the fourth time since 2010.

Head coach Brian Harsin may find himself at the top of a few coaching searches come this spring or the next, as this Broncos squad is consistently good

Fresno State has also been pretty good this year, going 9-3 under first year head coach Jeff Tedford. Aside from an upset against UNLV, their losses were very explainable. Losing to Washington and Alabama are understandable, and likely for a G5 team of Fresno State’s caliber. This game should be a good appetizer for the slugfests later on in the evening.
