3. Alabama Crimson Tide

When: Saturday, Sept. 22

Venue: Bryant-Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa, Alabama

This is the game Aggies have had circled on their calendars every season since joining the SEC, particularly since shocking the Crimson Tide – and the world – in 2012. The Aggies have tended to play the Crimson Tide close.

Part of the key is catching Alabama early – the Aggies only lost by eight this season in what unexpectedly became a close game. With as many questions as the 2017 Aggies had, I think the Aggies may have won this one if the quarterback question was fully answered. That game was on Oct. 5.

In 2018 the Aggies get Alabama in Week 4, ending a rough first month. The Aggies will have played Clemson two weeks earlier. Like I mentioned above, it’s important that the Aggies go at least 1-1 between the Crimson Tide and the Clemson Tigers for this season to be considered a success.

2017 score: 27-19 Alabama win

Early Prediction: Aggies WIN
