Texas A&M Baseball: Cornell preview, predictions, and how to watch
Texas A&M players to watch
Coach Rob Childress is going with the same pitching lineup that we saw against Rhode Island. The Rams chased freshman pitcher Chandler Jozwiak early from the second game, so this will be another chance for the freshman to get his feet under him, so to speak.
Stephen Kolek and Mitchell Kilkenny had stellar outings, with each picking up their first win of the season. Kolek allowed five hits and one run in 5.2 innings on Friday night. He struck out 10 Rams batters and walked one.
Kilkenny gave up four hits and two runs in 6.1 innings of work, and struck out seven before Kaylor Chafin and Nolan Hoffman came in to finish the game on Sunday.
The biggest story to come out of the first week of play was freshman Zach DeLoach. DeLoach delivered a two run single to lift the Aggies past Rhode Island in walkoff fashion last Saturday.

He was only a triple a way from hitting for the cycle in game three of the Rhode Island series. On Tuesday against SFA, he actually did it. He became the first Aggie since Tyler Naquin in 2011 to hit for the cycle, and it was also the first time an SEC player had hit for the cycle since 2016. He is currently hitting .579, good for third best in the SEC right now.
