Another recent star for Ags is Whitehouse, Texas native, A.J. Minter. After being drafted in the second round of the 2015 Amateur Entry Draft, Minter left College Station to sling it in the bigs.

After a short stint in the minors, Minter made his MLB debut on August 23, 2017. Minter saw the hill on sixteen different occasions in 2017 and registered 26 strikeouts to just two walks through fifteen full innings. With a solid rookie MLB season, this Ag has high hopes for 2018.

In what’s a lop-sided division, the Washington Nationals left everyone in their dust winning the division by a whopping twenty games. While the Braves are fighting an uphill battle they’re looking to stack up their bullpen with guys like Minter. He may not make an opening day, but expect to see him on opening weekend.
