5. Jimbo Fisher’s offense
For Aggie fans who’ve been frustrated with Kevin Sumlin’s offense and its inability to close games, the above Twitter video is such a treat to watch. Fisher will bring a more pro-style offense with him and with that comes running out of the I-formation.
That’s right, Ags. The fullback is BACK. PASS IT BACK, AGS!
In all seriousness, Fisher’s offense should be more competitive in the SEC. Sumlin’s offense can win games, but when he met elite defenses it was often shut down. The likes of Auburn, LSU and Alabama aren’t going anywhere so it was definitely time to shake things up on that side of the ball.
While we shouldn’t expect Fisher bringing in a new offense to just turn them into perennial contenders overnight, it certainly should give Aggie fans confidence that he was able to compete at the highest level at Florida State.
